PLAYERS CODE OF CONDUCT

I HEREBY PLEDGE TO:

1)      Provide positive support, care and encouragement for my teammates and coaches.

2)      Encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches and officials at every game, practice or other youth sport events.

3)      Place the emotional and physical well being of my team ahead of any personal desire to win.

4)      Insist that I play in a safe and healthy environment.

5)      Provide support for coaches and officials working with me to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for all.

6)      Demand a drug, alcohol and tobacco-free sports environment for me and agree to assist by refraining from their use at all youth sport events (including practices and games).

7)      Remember that the game is for the children and not the adults.

8)      Make youth sports fun for me and my teammates.

9)      Insist that I treat other players, coaches, fans and officials with respect regardless of race, sex, creed or ability.

10)  Help by assisting coaches, being a respectful fan, or whatever I am capable of doing.

11)  Refrain from using abusive and profane language at all time.

12)  Refrain from criticizing participants or coaches except for in a private meeting with the Head Coach.

13)  I will accept decisions of the game officials on the field as being fair and called to the best ability of said official.  I will not yell at the officials.

14)  I understand that any persons on the coaching staff or the Saints Board of Directors has the authority to ask me to leave the practice or game if I become a nuisance and/or out of control.

15)  I understand that if I miss practice during the week, I may be held out of the next game.

16)  It is my responsibility to make sure I arrive at practice on time and I am picked up on

Time from all practices and games.

17)  I will be responsible and help to keep our practice and playing fields clean.

18)  Assist the Napa Saints Association and Board members to implement and enforce the Players

Code of conduct.  I understand if I do not abide by the above code of conduct I may be asked to leave the practice/game.
